I love watching her sleep. It is the only time she is still enough for me to soak in all her loveliness. Many days I still let her sleep on my chest, the housework will get done and emails will get returned. I don't get this time back with her and I intend to soak up every precious moment. I reminisce of the time that has passed and my dreams for our future. I pray the prayers that mamas pray. Often tears fall as I count my blessings. Circumstances are not ideal but we choose our perspectives. Seasons come and seasons go. Right here, right now, I choose joy and to live in this moment not missing a thing. And yes, I would go back and walk the path it took me to get here.

Sleeping babies are a glimpse of heaven...there is just nothing sweeter. I agree that housework can wait. Soak up every minute with your baby and memorize every detail.
